BERTRAND -- Funeral Mass for Charles E. Voelker of Jefferson City will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston. The Rev. Robert Schumacher will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Voelker, 53, died Thursday, March 26, 1998, at the Capitol Reserve Medical Center in Jefferson City.

He was born March 20, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, son of Albert H. "Dutch" and Hazel Ruth McDowell Voelker. He and Anna Schumacher were married June 22, 1968.

Voelker was formerly of Bertrand. He was employed by state of Missouri as manager of administrative support for the Division of Family Services. He worked in Kansas City six years before moving to Jefferson City in 1985. He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral in Jefferson City.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Albert Voelker of Warrensburg; five daughters, Dana Voelker of Salem, Bethany Tillmann of Princeton, Minn., Mary Voelker of Jefferson City, Jeanne Marquez and Anne Voelker of Havelock, N.C.; a sister, Ruth Voelker of Bertrand; and a grandchild.
