DEXTER -- Deedie Crowley, 81, of Dexter died Thursday, April 2, 1998, at her home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1916, at Bernie, daughter of Ed and Effie Morris Schrader. She and Hershel Crowley were married in May 1935, in Piggott, Ark. He died March 27, 1977.
Crowley lived near Dudley 30 years, moving to Dexter in 1980.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Crowley of Dexter; two daughters, Peggy Dickey of Poplar Bluff, Sharon Yenke of Benton, La.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Mike Yates officiating. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
