SIKESTON -- Joe Galemore, 74, of Sikeston died Monday, April 13, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 19, 1923, in Success, Ark., son of Gene and Daisy Golden Goodman Galemore. He and Alma Essary were married July 4, 1942.

Galemore was formerly owner and operator of Galemore Mobile Homes. He was a member of Charleston Masonic Lodge 147, Chapter of York Rite, Scottish Rite in St. Louis, Moolah Temple, and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronald and Gary Galemore of Sikeston; two brothers, L.E. Galemore of Charleston, James Galemore of Sikeston; a sister, Esta Mulcahy of Sikeston; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today. Masonic service will be at 7:30.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Hills Cemetery at Morley.
