SIKESTON -- Lawrence M. "Bing" Limbaugh, 58, of Granada Hills, Calif., died Thursday, April 9, 1998, at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, Calif. He was born May 27, 1939, in St. Louis, son of Lester Jerome and Mona Pansy Ables Limbaugh. He and Eula Laster were married April 16, 1967...

SIKESTON -- Lawrence M. "Bing" Limbaugh, 58, of Granada Hills, Calif., died Thursday, April 9, 1998, at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

He was born May 27, 1939, in St. Louis, son of Lester Jerome and Mona Pansy Ables Limbaugh. He and Eula Laster were married April 16, 1967.

Formerly of Sikeston, Limbaugh was founder of Sikeston Little Theatre. He attended Memphis State University, and MBA School of Mortgage Banking.

Limbaugh moved to Granada Hills in 1974, and was senior vice president of Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Co. of Woodland Hills until retiring in June 1997.

He was president of Southern California Mortgage Bankers Association, chairman of California Mortgage Bankers Servicing Committee, and had served on several national mortgage banking committees.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mona Limbaugh of Granada Hills; two brothers, Jack Carter of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Lester Limbaugh of Arden, N.C.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Geers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
