CHARLESTON -- Beatrice Moore, 72, of Charleston died Thursday, April 9, 1998, at Beverly Health and Rehab Center in New Madrid.

She was born Jan. 10, 1926, in Patterson, Ark. She married Willie Moore.

Moore was a member of Grand Avenue Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Essie James of Cairo, Ruth Moore of Cape Girardeau; a son, Charles Johnson of Wilson, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and a brother.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Grand Avenue Church, with Pastor Roosevelt Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from noon until service time.

Sparks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
