MARBLE HILL -- Nancy Jane Rhodes, 84, of Marble Hill died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at her home.

She was born March 29, 1914, at Hurricane, daughter of George A. and Fannie Garland Kirkpatrick. She and Joseph A. Rhodes were married July 29, 1930.

Rhodes attended Plainview Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include five sons, John Rhodes of Texas, Carl, Elzie, Delzie and Kenneth Rhodes, all of Marble Hill; two daughters, Thelma Dippold of Cape Girardeau, Norma Jerrell of Dexter; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, four brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donald Sander officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery.
