GRASSY -- Lucille Cameron, 83, of Grassy died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 8, 1915, near Grassy, daughter of Jesse L. and Clercy E. Myers Newell. She and E. Gale Cameron were married July 7, 1941.

Cameron was a member of Friendship General Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Bill Cameron of Marble Hill; two daughters, Barbara Davis of Foley, Peggy Cruse of St. Louis; a brother, Floyd Newell of St. Charles; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery.
