MARBLE HILL -- Funeral for Wilma B. Matthews of Marble Hill will be at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The Rev. Michael Woods will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.

Matthews, 73, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 24, 1924, at Qulin, daughter of Charley and Hazel Gentzen Schreiner. She and Frank B. Matthews were married Nov. 11, 1945. He died May 3, 1973.

Matthews retired as deputy clerk with Circuit Court Division 5 in Bollinger County. She was a member of Marble Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Rick Matthews of Marble Hill; a daughter, Sharon Fuller of Marble Hill; a brother, Kenneth Schreiner of Wood River, Ill.; two sisters, Dolores Miller of Marble Hill, Annalee Anderson of Effingham, Ill.; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
