ANNA, Ill. -- George K. Huggins, 84, of Niceville, Fla., died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, at Sterling House in Niceville. He was born Aug. 11, 1913, in Jonesboro, son of George and Mary Hooper Huggins. He and Eleanor Richardson were married Oct. 27, 1935, in Anna. She died March 25, 1992...

ANNA, Ill. -- George K. Huggins, 84, of Niceville, Fla., died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, at Sterling House in Niceville.

He was born Aug. 11, 1913, in Jonesboro, son of George and Mary Hooper Huggins. He and Eleanor Richardson were married Oct. 27, 1935, in Anna. She died March 25, 1992.

Huggins retired as sales manager of Brockway Glass Co. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Niceville.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. George Huggins of Edgemere, Md., Michael Huggins of Prior Lake, Minn.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 11 a.m. Friday.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Anna Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Hertenstein officiating.
