JOHN SCHUCHART

SIKESTON -- John A. Schuchart, 54, of Sikeston died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at his home, following a year-long illness.

He was born April 3, 1944, in Sikeston, son of S.R. and Ella Heuiser Schuchart. He and Barbara Jane Merrick were married April 4, 1964, in Sikeston.

Schuchart was a landowner, was in the dairy industry several years, and had farmed more than 30 years.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Debbie Keltner of Rolla, Jennifer Schuchart of Columbia, Madelene Schuchart of Hyde Park, N.Y.; a sister, Barbara Schuchart of Sikeston; a brother, Daniel Schuchart of Bloomfield; and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
