Malcolm W. Jackson, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born March 20, 1926, in Shelbyville, Ky., son of Albert Carl and Anna Lee Wright Jackson. Malcolm W. Jackson, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born March 20, 1926, in Shelbyville, Ky., son of Albert Carl and Anna Lee Wright Jackson. He and Neva Davidson were married July 6, 1949.

Jackson was self-employed in trucking and farming. He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1966 from Mississippi County.

Survivors include two sons, Bert Jackson of St. Louis, Kent Jackson of Jackson; three daughters, Luanne Jackson of Newbury, Ohio, Myra Burgfeld of Cape Girardeau, Carla Kuehn of Perryville; and 11 grandchildren.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 10 a.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
