SIKESTON -- Nedra D. Watson, 56, of Sikeston died Friday, July 17, 1998, at Sikeston Health Care Inc. She was born July 24, 1941, in Sikeston, daughter of Chester and Evelyn Conner Dockins. She married John Watson. Watson was a 1959 graduate of Sikeston High School. She had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau. SIKESTON -- Nedra D. Watson, 56, of Sikeston died Friday, July 17, 1998, at Sikeston Health Care Inc.

She was born July 24, 1941, in Sikeston, daughter of Chester and Evelyn Conner Dockins. She married John Watson.

Watson was a 1959 graduate of Sikeston High School. She had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau. Formerly of Diehlstadt, she attended General Baptist Church there.

Survivors include her husband of Diehlstadt; a son, Gregory Watson of Jefferson City; her mother of Sikeston; three brothers, Denny Dockins of St. Peters, Stuart Dockins of High Ridge, Randy Dockins of Sikeston; five sisters, Brenda Hicks of Arnold, Gloria Morgan of Duck River, Tenn., Linda Hicks of Bowling Green, Ky., Leisa Grace of Sikeston; and Becky Andrews of Piedmont.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Burnes officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett.
