ELLA SCHNURBUSCH

PERRYVILLE -- Ella M. Schnurbusch, 88, of Perryville died Monday, July 20, 1998, at her home.

She was born Feb. 28, 1910, in Perry County, daughter of August and Sara Winkler Leible. She and Andrew A. Schnurbusch were married Sept. 27, 1938, at Apple Creek. He died Aug. 10, 1990.

Schnurbusch had been a nurse aide at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Bauwens of Perryville; two sons, Willard Schnurbusch of West Plains, Wayne Schnurbusch of Arnold; a sister, Clara Berkbigler of St. Louis; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake service is at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
