SIKESTON -- Billy C. "Chuck" Hanna Jr., 44, of Sikeston died Friday, July 24, 1998, at his home. He was born Feb. 4, 1954, in Sikeston, son of Billy C. and Elma Overby Hanna Sr. He and Julie Kluesner were married April 25, 1987. Hanna was a music teacher at Sikeston Middle School 20 years, and had played in the Tufa Band many years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church...

SIKESTON -- Billy C. "Chuck" Hanna Jr., 44, of Sikeston died Friday, July 24, 1998, at his home.

He was born Feb. 4, 1954, in Sikeston, son of Billy C. and Elma Overby Hanna Sr. He and Julie Kluesner were married April 25, 1987.

Hanna was a music teacher at Sikeston Middle School 20 years, and had played in the Tufa Band many years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Sikeston; two brothers, David Hanna of St. Louis, Rick Hanna of Jackson; and paternal grandmother, Lucille Hanna of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
