MATTHEWS -- Joyce C. Coomer, 58, of St. Peters died Thursday, July 23, 1998, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. She was born March 11, 1940, at Matthews, daughter of William and Naomi Lucey. She married Elroy Coomer. Coomer retired as an accountant with Monsanto Chemical Co., where she worked 32 years...

MATTHEWS -- Joyce C. Coomer, 58, of St. Peters died Thursday, July 23, 1998, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.

She was born March 11, 1940, at Matthews, daughter of William and Naomi Lucey. She married Elroy Coomer.

Coomer retired as an accountant with Monsanto Chemical Co., where she worked 32 years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Terry Coomer of Moscow Mills, Kenneth Coomer of Wentzville; a brother, Herman Lucey of Jackson; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles from 4-8:30 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
