Glenda Kay Wolpers, 52, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, at her home.

She was born April 21, 1946, at Dexter, daughter of Earl C. and Alberta Jackson Gaines.

Wolpers was a hairdresser with Glamour Photographer Studio six years. She was also a professional country singer and songwriter. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Scott Wolpers of Leopold, Kevin and Rick Wolpers, both of Cape Girardeau; her mother of Dexter; a sister, Judy Hubbard of Dexter; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Donny Ford and Clifford Wray officiating. Burial will be in Ezell Cemetery at Dexter.
