MOLLIE SESSEEN

EAST PRAIRIE -- Mollie Jean Sasseen, 63, of Jasper, Tenn., formerly of East Prairie, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn.

She was born Sept. 9, 1934, in Luxora, Ark., daughter of Raymond David and Mollie Fisher Lee. She and Eulous Thurston Sasseen were married Jan. 21, 1956. He died Dec. 29, 1984.

Sasseen had lived in Jasper since 1996.

Survivors include a son, Rick Sasseen of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Rhonda Butler of Kimball, Tenn.; her mother of Hardin, Ky.; a sister, Bonnie Woods of Hardin; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Willer officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
