ANNA, Ill. -- Marie C. Ferrill, 85, of Anna died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1998, at Union County Hospital.

She was born Jan. 16, 1913, near Carbondale, daughter of A. B. and Lula Mae Keys Crawshaw.

Ferrill was a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School, and attended Washington University in St. Louis.

She worked at Illinois Commercial Telephone Co., 21 years at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in St. Louis, and 10 years with Presley Tours of Makanda. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Philip Ferrill of St. Louis County; two daughters, Sue Zapencki of St. Louis, Margaret Miller of Waterloo; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a sister, grandson and stepson.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today, and Friday until service time.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. William Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
