Funeral for Lubertha "Bert" Johnson-Freeman of Petersburg, Va., will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Thomas will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Johnson-Freeman, 81, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at Southside Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Vicksburg, Miss., daughter of J.C. and Vicey Hilton.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Johnson of Petersburg, Irene Bush of Boardman, Ore., Ruth Johnson-Robinson of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Johnnie Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Arthur Frazier of South Carolina; a sister, Wilma Webb of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Samuel Hilton of San Francisco, Calif.; 27 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
