Vern B. Dost, 68, of Fort Pierce, Fla., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998, at his home.
He was born in Oak Ridge.
He lived in Florida for the past 34 years and was a heavy equipment operator. For the past eight years, he worked for the Charles Redi Mix Concrete Co. in Fort Pierce.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Pierce.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Dost of Fort Pierce; a daughter, Carol J. Dost of Fort Pierce; two brothers, Ervin Dost of Cape Girardeau and Elton Dost of Jackson; a sister, Helen Morrison of Oak Ridge.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Pierce. The Rev. Ron Engel will officiate, with burial in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
