DEXTER -- John David Cahow, 17, of Dexter died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was injured in an automobile accident on Sunday.

He was born Dec. 16, 1980, in Poplar Bluff, son of Delbert and Barbara C. Hunsaker Cahow.

Cahow was a student at Dexter High School and a member of the varsity football team and baseball team.

Survivors include his father; two brothers, Scott Foster of Dexter, Sam Cahow of Los Banos, Calif.; a sister, Ramona Wright of Los Banos; maternal grandmother, Mildred Hunsaker, and paternal grandmother, Pearl Cahow, both of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Threadgill officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
