BONNE TERRE -- Funeral for Lloyd Reid of Bonne Terre was held Sunday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. The Rev. Mark Inman officiated, with burial in Portageville Cemetery.
Reid, 55, died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998, at his home.
He was born Nov. 11, 1942, in St. Louis, son of L.C. and Louise Layman Reid. He and Nola Maddox were married May 3, 1961, in New Madrid.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Reid of the home; five daughters, Debhra Jones of Flat Rock, Mich., Donna Palmer of High Ridge, Laura Lowery of DeSoto, Michelle Hastings of Poplar Bluff, Pamela Reid of Bonne Terre; and his mother of Scott City.
Also surviving are two brothers, Lonnie Reid of Scott City, Danny Reid of Bradenton, Fla.; eight sisters, Wilma McDaniel of West Port, Ind., Alene Woolsey of Sikeston, Velma Smith of Lilbourn, Betty Baehr of Granite City, Ill., Faye Myers and Linda Parker of Scott City, June Perez of Jackson, Sharron Clemmens of Gerald; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, and a brother.
