A memorial service for Tom Brockmire of Auburn, Calif., was held Friday at Meadow Vista Park in Meadow Vista, Calif.

Brockmire, 46, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998, in a single motorcycle accident near Marysville, Calif.

He was born May 24, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas, son of William R. and Jacqueline Blaylock Brockmire. He attended Jefferson School in Cape Girardeau.

Brockmire was a machinist.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Brockmire of San Bernardino, Calif.; his father of Grass Valley, Calif.; his mother and stepfather, Jacqueline and Hank Scarborough of Beatty, Ore.; two sisters, Terry Brockmire of North Highlands, Calif., Tracey Burton of Citrus Heights, Calif.; and a friend, Kelly Brackett of Auburn.

He was preceded in death by grandparents.
