DOROTHY ARROTT

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Dorothy Lucille Arrott, 66, of Dongola died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Nov. 9, 1931, in Beeville, Texas, daughter of Alex and Clara Gavlik Dlugosh. She and Reed T. Arrott Sr. were married Nov. 6, 1952, in Pascagoula, Miss.

Arrott was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Reed Arrott Jr. of Batavia, James Arrott of Elgin; three daughters, Angela Hohensee of New Braunfels, Texas, Melissa Maxey of Memphis, Tenn., Sue Arrott of St. Louis; two sisters, Mary Powell of San Antonio, Texas, Maggie Tyler of Houston, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. Wednesday. A prayer service will be held at 6.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
