ANNA, Ill. -- Evelyn June Toler, 71, of Anna died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 11, 1927, in Carterville, Ill., the daughter of Irving E. and Morine Reeves Milton.

She married William Franklin Toler April 23, 1953, in Anna.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anna and worked with her husband in his business with Holiday Inn and the self-storage business. She was active in several civic organizations.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Brad of Anna, Don of Boynto Beach, Fla., and Dave of Vrecksville, Ohio; a sister, Myra Davidson of Anna; two brothers, Richard Milton of Hot Springs, Ark., and Earl Milton of St. Joseph, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Shackles officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery.
