ANNA, Ill. -- Deana Lyn Pearson, 27, of Anna died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998, in Panama City Beach, Fla. She was born Sept. 26, 1970, in Carbondale, daughter of Richard and Janice Brasmer Pearson. She was formerly of Makanda. Pearson served in the U.S. Marine Corps. She was a corrections officer at Tamms Correctional Center...

ANNA, Ill. -- Deana Lyn Pearson, 27, of Anna died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998, in Panama City Beach, Fla.

She was born Sept. 26, 1970, in Carbondale, daughter of Richard and Janice Brasmer Pearson. She was formerly of Makanda.

Pearson served in the U.S. Marine Corps. She was a corrections officer at Tamms Correctional Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Taylor Angermeier of Makanda; her parents of Makanda; a sister, Cindy Justice of Dexter, Mo.; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brasmer of Milan.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Don Fisher and Cliff Waller officiating. Burial will be in Rowan Cemetery at Makanda, with graveside rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna.
