ANNA, Ill. -- Floyd "Bud" Swink, 51, of Anna died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, at his home.

He was born Aug. 16, 1947, at Anna, son of Floyd L. and Opal A. Allen Swink. He and Sue Newberry were married May 14, 1983, at Wolf Lake.

Swink was an over-the-road truck driver. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dennis Swink of Anna; a daughter, Stacey Samuels of Anna; his mother of Jonesboro; a sister, Linda Craig of Anna; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Herman Painter and Larry Miller officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
