BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral for Milford Rhodes of Bloomfield will be held at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Jessie Long will officiate, with burial in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Rhodes, 68, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

He was born Feb. 6, 1930, at Hurricane, son of Marion and Maizie Patton Rhodes.

Formerly of Marble Hill, he was a member of First General Baptist Church at Dexter.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Hardin of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
