CHAFFEE -- Robert Joseph Glaus, 62, of Chaffee died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 30, 1935, at Commerce, son of Joseph Ulrich and Beatrice Fay Knight Glaus.

He was a farmer and a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the St. Ambrose Men's Club in Chaffee.

On Aug. 25, 1956, he married Anna Marie Hess. She survives.

He is also survived by three sons, Ricky and Mike Glaus, both of Chaffee, and Donald Glaus of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Mary Ann Keys and Angie DeProw, both of Chaffee; a brother, Lary L. Glaus of Chaffee; two sisters, Jacquelyn S. Vandeven and Debra Ann Eichhorn, both of Chaffee; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at 11 a.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, with the Rev. Ralph J. Duffner officiating. Burial will be at the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
