CHAFFEE -- Amy J. Dugger, 90, of Chaffee died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 5, 1908, at Oran, daughter of James Henry and Dora Lyon Davenport. She and Albert Dugger were married June 6, 1929.
For many years, Dugger and her husband were owners and operators of the Duggers Grocery Store in Chaffee. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chaffee and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 48 in Chaffee.
Survivors include her husband; a sister, Naomia Smith of Chaffee, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee and from noon to service time Wednesday at First Baptist Church.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. John Davis officiating. Burial will be in Friend Cemetery in Oran.
