SIKESTON -- Demetrius Lamar Tate, 18 months, of Sikeston died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998, at St. Louis Children's Hospital after an automobile accident. He was born March 7, 1997, in Sikeston. SIKESTON -- Demetrius Lamar Tate, 18 months, of Sikeston died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998, at St. Louis Children's Hospital after an automobile accident.

He was born March 7, 1997, in Sikeston.

He is survived by his mother, LaToya Fletcher of Sikeston; maternal grandmother, Joann Fletcher of Sikeston; maternal grandfather, David Howard of Sikeston; and maternal great-grandmother, Florence Howard of Sikeston.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Green Memorial Church of God in Christ.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the church, with Charlie Green Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

The Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
