SIKESTON -- Lelia Stausing, 82, of Sikeston died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at her home.
She was born Dec. 6, 1915, in McEwen, Tenn., daughter of Walter and Effie Hooper Stewart. She and Elgin Stausing were married in 1942. He died in 1990.
Stausing was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Tedford of Sikeston; a brother, Clarence Stewart of Douglas, Ariz.; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dolan Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
