PERRYVILLE -- Edna C. Hotop, 81, of Perryville died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 7, 1917, in Perry County, daughter of William I. and Rosalia Wucher Bohnert. She and Norbert J. Hotop were married April 18, 1940. He died Dec. 8, 1991.

Hotop was a homemaker. She was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno and the Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include three sons, Dale Hotop, Donald Hotop and David Hotop, all of Perryville; three daughters, Carol Lottes and Virginia LaRose, both of Perryville, and Diane Mattingly of St. Louis; a brother, Roland Bohnert of Festus; a sister, Rosella Milfelt of Perryville; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, a sister and grandson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville and from 6:30 to 10:20 a.m. Saturday. A rosary will be said at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
