PERRYVILLE -- Graveside service for Michael Vernon Edmond of Columbia was held Tuesday at Whitewater Church Cemetery in Yount. The Rev. Rick Reagan officiated. Nilson Funeral Home in Columbia was in charge of arrangements. Edmond, 51, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1998, at his home.
He was born Feb. 19, 1947, in Perryville, son of Vernon and Lyndola Kennon Edmond.
Edmond was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors include a son, David Edmond of Herculaneum; a daughter, Michelle Barton of Festus; his father of Fredericktown; two brothers, Larry and Randy Edmond of DeSoto; three sisters, Delores LaBoube and Sandy Spruell of DeSoto, Diane Edmond of High Ridge; and two grandchildren.
