PATTON -- Lurlien Grace Brotherton, 95, of Patton died Friday, Oct. 16, 1998, at her home. She was born Aug. 3, 1903, at Patton, daughter of Jefferson D. and Lucy B. Shell Mungle. She and Luther T. Brotherton were married Sept. 11, 1927. He died April 11, 1986...

PATTON -- Lurlien Grace Brotherton, 95, of Patton died Friday, Oct. 16, 1998, at her home.

She was born Aug. 3, 1903, at Patton, daughter of Jefferson D. and Lucy B. Shell Mungle. She and Luther T. Brotherton were married Sept. 11, 1927. He died April 11, 1986.

Brotherton was a member of Patton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Donald Brotherton of Perryville; a daughter, Dorothy Stanfill of Patton; a brother, R.S. "Butch" Mungle of Patton; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and two grandsons.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. W.D. Snyder and Stella Turner officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
