ALBERT LAND

DELTA -- Funeral for Albert "Rouge" Land of Delta will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. The Revs. Dan Baggett and Glen Golden will officiate. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Land, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.

He was born June 30, 1914, at Randles, son of Alfred and Hattie Hester Land. He and Dolly Copman were married Dec. 27, 1939, at Jackson.

Land was a welder 30 years with Frisco Railroad.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Don Land of Benton, Larry Land of Mascoutah, Ill.; a daughter, Emma Land of Delta; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
