MARBLE HILL -- Ora Edward Davault, 91, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
He was born May 8, 1907, at Dongola, Mo., son of Wiley S. and Marada Shell Davault. He and Ruth Snider were married Aug. 30, 1925.
Davault had farmed, sold automobiles and insurance, and retired from Ward Funeral Home.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and had served as deacon and head usher many years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roy Davault of Cape Girardeau, Vernon Davault of Jackson; a daughter, Della Reinholz of Trenton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, six sisters, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-7 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Jetton officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
