Funeral for Cedric B. McCauley of Torrington, Conn., will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Roy Marshall will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
McCauley, 24, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, at Charlotte-Hungerford Hospital in Torrington.
He was born Aug. 18, 1974, in Cape Girardeau, son of Leroy and JoAnn Ware McCauley. He was a 1992 graduate of Central High School and attended Rend Lake Junior College in Mount Vernon, Ill.
McCauley was a bricklayer and member of House of Prayer. He had served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his parents of Cape Girardeau; a son, Cedric McCauley Jr. of Torrington; a daughter, Shakeena McCauley of Malden; two brothers, Leroy McCauley Jr. of Torrington, Markquell Scott of Kennett; two sisters, LaTanya Thomas of Cape Girardeau, Sommer McCauley of the home; and maternal grandparents, Reece and Loura Ware of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents.
