CAIRO, Ill. -- Allie F. Ford, 90, of Cairo died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born Oct. 5, 1908, at Oran, Mo., daughter of William and Clara Heard Vaughn. She married Harry Ford, who died in 1978.
Ford was a member of First Christian Church and its board, Winnie Roche Circle, member of American Legion Auxiliary, and had been assistant secretary for Alexander County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a daughter, Clara Bucher of Bridgeview; a son, Norman Henshaw of St. Peters, Mo.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Pigg officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery at Mounds.
