ANNA, Ill. -- Aretta Poole, 90, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998, at Union County Hospital.

She was born Jan. 12, 1908, in Mill Creek, daughter of Lewis and Dora Mason Poole. She and Corlas "Coke" Poole were married Sept. 6, 1923, at Jackson, Mo. He died Nov. 5, 1967.

Poole was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Bonnard Poole of Elgin, Arthur "Jack" and Bruce Poole of Dongola, Barry Poole of South Elgin; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Harner officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
