DEXTER -- Glenda Willine Leek, 64, of Dexter died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 14, 1934, in Essex, daughter of Norvil and Annie Christian Thorn. She and Murel Leek were married July 3, 1953, in Flint, Mich.

Leek had worked at Elder Manufacturing and at the Hickory Log Restaurant. She lived in the Essex area and in Michigan, moving to Dexter in 1959.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Anita Holmes of Essex; her mother of Flint; a sister, Bertha Counterman of Flint; a brother, Dallas Thorn of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Shannon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens at Poplar Bluff.
