C. EVELYN MOCK

MARBLE HILL -- C. Evelyn Mock, 76, of Marble Hill died Sunday Nov. 15, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 2, 1922, at Pocahontas, Ark., to John Lynxwiler and Mattie Rennett.

On Feb. 1, 1941, at Doniphan, she married Clyde E. Mock, who died Feb. 6, 1994.

She was a member of Marble Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Dwight Mock of Marble Hill; two brothers, Ed Lynxwiler of Reno, Ark., and Herman Lynxwiler of Bloomfield; two sisters from California; and two grandchildren.

Four brothers preceded her in death.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery in Marble Hill.
