ERVIN LUDWIG

POCAHONTAS -- Ervin G.C. Ludwig, 79, of Pocahontas died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 10, 1919, near Pocahontas, son of Edwin G. and Dora Tuschhoff Ludwig. He and Nelda Leimer were married Aug. 27, 1944.

Ludwig lived at Pocahontas all his life and operated a dairy farm. He was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Betty Ludwig of Pocahontas; a brother, Joe Ludwig of Jackson; and a sister, Linda Petzoldt of Jackson.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Church, with the Rev. John Kiehl officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
