NORMAN LORENZ

FROHNA -- Norman A. Lorenz, 83, of Frohna died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 18, 1915, in Perry County, son of Alfred Christian and Ella Alma Doering Lorenz. He and Lorene S. Hoehn were married April 25, 1952.

Lorenz was a stock fitter 36 years at International Shoe Co. in Perryville. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, and former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Wittenberg where he had been an elder and trustee.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Hilmer Lorenz of Frohna.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, with the Rev. Luther Herman officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery at Perryville.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday.
