PILOT KNOB -- Delmar E. Haertling, 56, of Pilot Knob died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at his home. He was born May 14, 1942, at New Wells, son of Alfons and Lidia Gerler Haertling. He and Lila S. PILOT KNOB -- Delmar E. Haertling, 56, of Pilot Knob died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at his home.

He was born May 14, 1942, at New Wells, son of Alfons and Lidia Gerler Haertling. He and Lila S. Furlong were married Dec. 12, 1960.

Haertling was a branch manager for National Propane. He also was a member of the Pilot Knob Fire Department.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ironton.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Bradley Haertling; three daughters, Therecia Morris, Kristina Rothlisberger and Joanna Volner; a sister, Myrtle Braeuner; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Bryson Funeral Home in Pilot Knob from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ironton. The Revs. Charles Dickinson and Paul Weisenborn will officiate, with burial at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
