Catherine Lucille York, 88, of Arnold died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis. She was born Aug. 23, 1910, at East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Robert Reilley and Carrie Emmrick Reilley. She married Russell York in 1926. He preceded her in death in 1980...

Catherine Lucille York, 88, of Arnold died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 23, 1910, at East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Robert Reilley and Carrie Emmrick Reilley.

She married Russell York in 1926. He preceded her in death in 1980.

Survivors included two sons, William York of Arnold and Charles York of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a daughter, Rosemary Edwards of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Loretta Hanser of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Helen Lintznich of Collinsville, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, La June Hutchins on Dec. 25, 1992; a sister, Florence Jackson, and three infant sons.

Service will be held at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel Monday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Randolph Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call a the funeral home Monday from 11 a.m. to service time.
