ORAN -- Irmina Mary Pobst, 91, of Oran died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee. She was born Aug. 1, 1906, near Oran, daugher of Tony and Ida Dannenmueller Gosche. She and Paul Michael Pobst were married Oct. 19, 1926. He died Sept. 17, 1955...

ORAN -- Irmina Mary Pobst, 91, of Oran died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.

She was born Aug. 1, 1906, near Oran, daugher of Tony and Ida Dannenmueller Gosche. She and Paul Michael Pobst were married Oct. 19, 1926. He died Sept. 17, 1955.

Pobst was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church and its St. Ann Sodality.

Survivors include three daughters, Laverne Stoll of Festus, Marietta Graviett and Carolyn Tenkhoff of Oran; three sisters, Nora Pobst of Chaffee, Corona Feuerhahn of Cape Girardeau, Wilma Metz of Oran; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; five great-stepgrandchildren; and three great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters and three brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
