McEwing, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.

She was born Dec. 26, 1912, at Chaffee, daughter of Ben and Elizabeth Hart McEwing.
McEwing was a licensed practical nurse at St. Francis Medical Center 47 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
There are no survivors.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
