IVAN COLEMAN JR.

ADVANCE -- Ivan Eugene Coleman Jr., 34, of Hopewell died Sunday, Nov. 9, 1997, at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

He was born Sept. 7, 1963, in St. Louis, son of Ivan E. and Joyce Ann Dicus Coleman Sr. He and Mary A. Whittley were married Oct. 13, 1984 in Hopewell.

Coleman was a construction worker with Industrial Trading Co.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ivan Coleman III of Hopewell, Jason DeClue of Belgrade; a daughter, Gina Coleman of Hopewell; his parents of Advance; a brother, Lee Coleman of Bloomfield; two sisters, Theresa Cantrell of Hopewell, Melissa Coleman of Advance; and maternal grandparents, Howard and Omah Yarbrough.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:30-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Burial will be in New Hope McGee Cemetery at McGee.
