MILDRED BRICKHAUS

PERRYVILLE -- Mildred N. Brickhaus, 82, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 15, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 11, 1915, in Perry County, daughter of Amsirah and Luella Eddleman Hoffman.

She married Raymond H. Brickhaus on April 29, 1944. He died July 30, 1981.

She was a retired seamstress.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary Post 4282 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 133.

Survivors include a son, Donald Brickhaus of Fruitland; two daughters, Norma Wengert of Perryville and Carol Raines of Kelso; a brother, Nelson Hoffman of Perryville; three sisters, Iona Brickhaus and Leoda Buchheit of Perryville and Anita Ryan of Cincinnati; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. today, with the funeral at 11 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland. The Rev. Robert Brockland will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
